CORPORATE STRATEGY

When I first assumed the role of Co-Leader of Computational Design at SmithGroup, the firm expected that I would spend most of my time building tools. We realized very quickly that to achieve our goals we needed to improve our knowledge network so that employees across the country could realize and embrace the true potential of computational design. Tools were only one piece of a large and complicated puzzle. Our solution was to develop a variety of platforms that streamline the creation and sharing of content. These form the foundation of a multi-office, multi-disciplinary knowledge network that connects people with ideas to people who can help achieve them.
